Amendment One supporters are crying foul. They are, as they say it, victims of “bully tactics.”
Their proof – a picture of a church’s vandalized outdoor sign.
Although a popular political protest tool, vandalism is illegal. But in this instance – where does the moniker of “bully” lay? The vandal? Or the coordinated movement to enshrine bigotry and hatred into North Carolina’s Constitution? As not to be a bully about it – I’ll let you make the final determination.
But I know where I stand. I, like the figure those behind Amendment One revere, am a bully – a bully for love.
