Happy Groundhog Day everyone! There are groundhog events going on throughout NC today. If you’re in Raleigh, Charlotte or Greensboro, you can enjoy the meteorological predictions of Sir Walter Wally, Queen Charlotte or Woody the Groundhog. I must admit, I was expecting the Triad’s rodent weatherman to be named Nathaniel Greenehog instead of Woody, but I’ll accept an adorable critter under any moniker.
It looks like most events are happening at science museums across the state, so be sure to check our your local natural science center for the latest news on this year’s winter. If it’s six more weeks of 60 degree days, I won’t complain.
