APRI provides shuttles to early voting for NCSU students

Hey Wolfpack! Voting on Amendment One just became a lot easier!

With funding provided by the A. Phillip Randolph Institute, North Carolina State University will have a shuttle to the Board of Elections Office on Harrington Street during the early voting period for the upcoming May 8th elections! Students can catch the shuttle from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day between Monday April 30th and Friday May 4th in front of Reynolds Coliseum.

While NC State has its home in the capital city, reaching an early voting location from campus is a daunting task. It requires either walking a few miles or navigating public transportation. When faced with such adversity, the average student finds it remarkably easy to procrastinate and occupy his or her time with other activities. In this fashion, a well-meaning student’s vote is lost.

We at Honest NC applaud this APRI/NCSU collaboration! Although the act of getting students to the polls in a convenient manner is entirely non-partisan, students across the State are overwhelmingly against Amendment One. Go Pack!
